As frozen white warms to spring

by jimowensjr

As frozen white warms in to spring

Borne on the song of warbler’s wing;

And white sun warms both earth and heart,

When bitter wind and grey skies depart;

So same the child, young and old

Are finally warm, both body and soul;

For now to dance in this new season,

And be the one to shed grown reason;

To jump and run and wildly play,

And leave all cares in this new day;

But let your heart forever see,

‘Tis always spring, who let it be.
